By asking for a quote, accepting a quote, making a payment, sending artwork, approving a proof, confirming an order, collecting goods, accepting a delivery, or asking Express Print South Africa to go ahead, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About The Company
Express Print South Africa is a printing, branding, signage and production service provider operating in South Africa.
2. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms apply to every customer, whether an individual, company, reseller, agency, school, church, organisation, association, government department, corporate buyer or any other person or entity that places an order.
3. How You Accept These Terms
A customer accepts these Terms by requesting work, accepting a quote, paying an invoice, sending artwork, approving a proof, sending a purchase order, confirming instructions, collecting goods, accepting a delivery, or allowing production to begin.
4. These Terms Are Part Of Every Order
These Terms form part of every quote, invoice, order, payment request, artwork approval, production instruction, delivery arrangement and other customer communication.
5. Customers Should Read These Terms
Before approving artwork, paying, instructing production, accepting a delivery or collecting goods, the customer is responsible for reading and understanding these Terms.
6. Business Hours
Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on weekends, public holidays and any special closure dates that Express Print South Africa announces.
7. Requests Received After Hours
Orders, payments, messages, artwork, approvals or requests received outside business hours may be treated as received on the next business day.
8. Weekends And Public Holidays
Weekends and public holidays do not count as standard production days unless Express Print South Africa agrees in writing to provide weekend or public holiday service.
9. Order Processing Sequence
Orders are generally processed in the order they are received, paid for, approved and supplied with print-ready artwork. This is subject to production schedules and quoted turnaround times.
10. Right To Decline Or Cancel Due To Capacity
Express Print South Africa may decline, pause or cancel any order that goes beyond our operational, machine, staffing or material capacity, or beyond reasonable production limits.
11. Quotes
Every quote is based on the information the customer gave us at the time of quoting.
12. How Long A Quote Is Valid
Unless we state otherwise in writing, quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue.
13. Price Changes
Prices may change after the quote validity period ends because of material costs, supplier charges, labour costs, exchange rates, courier costs or operating conditions.
14. Changes To Specifications
Any change to quantity, size, material, colour, artwork, finishing, installation, delivery, urgency, deadline or production method may change the quoted price.
15. Written Confirmation Required
An order is not confirmed until Express Print South Africa has issued a quote, invoice or written price confirmation, and the customer has accepted it in writing, by payment, by deposit or by purchase order.
16. Full Order Details Required
Customers must provide complete and accurate order details, including product type, size, quantity, material, colour requirements, finishing, delivery address, billing details, artwork status, deadline and contact details.
17. Incomplete Information
Express Print South Africa is not liable for delays, incorrect production, wrong pricing or missed deadlines caused by incomplete, unclear, contradictory, late or inaccurate information from the customer.
18. Pricing
All prices are based on the specifications supplied and accepted at the quote stage.
19. Additional Charges
Extra work, changes, corrections, artwork preparation, urgent handling, delivery, installation, packaging, storage or special finishing may be charged separately.
20. VAT And Statutory Charges
Prices exclude VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Where applicable, VAT, levies, environmental charges, packaging charges or other statutory costs may be added.
21. Payment Before Production
An order will not go into production until Express Print South Africa has confirmed full payment, the required deposit or approved account terms.
22. Same-Day Payment Cut-Off
For same-day service, payment must be made and cleared by 9:00 AM on the day of service, unless management accepts otherwise in writing.
23. General Order Cut-Off
Orders that need same-day, next-day or urgent scheduling should be placed by 10:00 AM on a business day, with payment and press-ready artwork, unless we accept them in writing at another time.
24. Payments Must Clear
Payments must clear or be verified before Express Print South Africa starts processing an order, unless management approves otherwise in writing.
25. Proof Of Payment
A proof of payment does not automatically mean funds have cleared. Express Print South Africa may wait for the funds to reflect before production starts.
26. No Automatic Credit
Express Print South Africa does not offer credit automatically. Management must approve any credit facility in writing before an order is placed.
27. Late Payments
Where credit has been approved and a payment is late, Express Print South Africa may charge interest, pause further work, hold back goods or artwork, refuse collection, stop deliveries or hand the matter over for collection.
28. Payment Errors
Money paid into our account by mistake may attract an administration, reversal, handling or processing fee, where reasonably incurred and legally permitted.
29. Payment Error Surcharge
Where an incorrect or mistaken payment creates administrative, banking, accounting, compliance or reversal costs, Express Print South Africa may charge a surcharge or administration fee of up to 35%, where this is lawful, reasonable and suitable for the circumstances.
30. Ownership Of Goods
All goods, artwork, designs, layouts, printed products, signage, materials and digital assets remain the property of Express Print South Africa until we have received full payment.
31. Artwork Requirements
Customers must supply correct, high-resolution, print-ready artwork in the required format, size, bleed, margin, colour mode and layout.
32. Press-Ready Artwork
Same-day and urgent services require press-ready artwork. If artwork is not press-ready, the turnaround time may be extended.
33. Prepared Artwork For Same-Day Work
Same-day printing, signage and banner services are only available where suitable prepared artwork is supplied and approved in time.
34. Customer-Supplied Artwork
When the customer supplies artwork, Express Print South Africa is not responsible for spelling or grammar errors, wrong phone numbers or addresses, incorrect QR codes, low-resolution images, poor logo quality, missing fonts, wrong sizing, incorrect colours, layout errors or any other defect in the file supplied.
35. Customer Must Check Artwork
The customer is responsible for checking all artwork, proofs, spelling, details, colours, sizing, layout and specifications before giving approval.
36. No Responsibility After Approval
Express Print South Africa will not be responsible for artwork, wording, spelling, layout or specification errors once the customer has given the go-ahead or approval.
37. Artwork Checks By Express Print
Where practical, Express Print South Africa may point out obvious artwork concerns. However, we are not required to proofread, edit, verify or professionally audit customer-supplied artwork unless a paid service has been agreed in writing.
38. Design Requests
Design requests add at least 24 hours to the production timeline, unless an emergency design service has been accepted in writing.
39. Emergency Design Services
Emergency design, artwork correction, redrawing, layout or file preparation may be offered at an additional cost, and is subject to capacity.
40. Design And Artwork Charges
Artwork setup, design, layout, editing, redrawing, vectorising, formatting, resizing, reconstruction and correction are charged separately.
41. Who Owns Artwork
Artwork, designs, layouts, concepts, templates and digital production files created by Express Print South Africa remain our intellectual property until they are paid for in full.
42. Releasing Files
Working files, editable files, design files, templates and production files that we create are not released automatically. They are only released once paid for and agreed in writing.
43. Proofs
We may provide a proof for customer approval before production. Proofs may be digital, printed, photographic or written, depending on the product and production process.
44. Same-Day Art Approval
Same-day orders need artwork approval confirmed within 1 hour of receiving the proof, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
45. Next-Day And Two-Day Art Approval
Next-day and two-day orders need artwork approval confirmed within 2 hours of receiving the proof, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
46. Delayed Approvals
A delayed artwork approval may move the order to a later production slot and may affect the agreed turnaround time.
47. Approving A Proof
Once a customer approves a proof, they accept the layout, wording, spelling, sizing, colours, images, logos, quantities, positioning, contact details and every other visible element on the proof.
48. Approved Proof Is The Final Instruction
Production will follow the approved proof and accepted specifications. Any error the customer approves remains the customer’s responsibility.
49. Changes After Approval
Any change requested after proof approval may lead to extra charges, new artwork fees, material waste charges, delayed completion, revised lead times or production restart costs.
50. Ways To Communicate
Express Print South Africa may communicate by email, WhatsApp, telephone or in person.
51. Formal Written Communication
Formal quotes, approvals, artwork changes, billing information, complaints and critical production instructions should be given clearly in writing.
52. WhatsApp Communication
WhatsApp can be used for convenience, but fragmented, unclear, incomplete or contradictory messages may lead to errors or delays.
53. WhatsApp Limitation
Express Print South Africa is not liable for problems caused by unclear WhatsApp instructions where no clear final instruction was given in writing.
54. Email Is Preferred For Formal Matters
Email is the preferred channel for formal quotes, order confirmations, artwork approvals, complaints, legal notices and billing details, as it creates a clearer written record.
55. Same-Day Service
Same-day service is only considered where the customer has supplied full information, press-ready artwork, proof approval and confirmed payment by the required cut-off time.
56. Same-Day Service Is Not Guaranteed
Same-day service is a priority production attempt and is not an absolute guarantee.
57. Same-Day Success Rate
Express Print South Africa works to a high standard and has a strong same-day success rate, estimated at around 96%. However, same-day service is not perfect and cannot be guaranteed in every case.
58. Production Capacity
Same-day work depends on available capacity, machines, staff, materials, suppliers, electricity, courier availability, artwork readiness and operating conditions.
59. Risks Of Urgent Production
Urgent, same-day, next-day, after-hours, weekend and rush orders carry a higher production risk.
60. Customer Accepts Urgent Risk
The customer accepts that urgent work may leave limited time for proofing, limited time for corrections, limited supplier options and limited time to recover if unexpected problems arise.
61. Estimated Completion Times
All turnaround times, deadlines, collection times and delivery times are estimates.
62. No Absolute Deadline Guarantee
Work may be finished earlier, on time or later, depending on operating conditions. Estimated times are not penalties, warranties or absolute guarantees unless management states otherwise in writing.
63. Late Orders
Late, incomplete, unpaid or unapproved orders may only start counting from day zero on the following business day.
64. When Turnaround Starts
Turnaround times only begin once payment has cleared, full order details have been supplied, press-ready artwork has been received and the artwork has been approved.
65. What A Turnaround Guarantee Means
Where a turnaround is agreed, it refers to the estimated dispatch, collection or completion time and date. It does not cover events outside Express Print South Africa’s control.
66. Dispatch Time
Where delivery is needed, the agreed turnaround may refer to when the order is ready for dispatch, not the final courier delivery time, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
67. Public Holidays
Public holidays, special closure days and supplier closure days may affect turnaround and delivery times.
68. Holidays In The Customer’s Area
Public holidays or closure days in the customer’s area, the delivery area or the supplier’s area may affect courier and delivery times.
69. Plan Ahead
Customers are advised to plan ahead and allow reasonable production time.
70. Risk Of Ordering Late
Express Print South Africa is not liable for stress, losses or disappointment caused by a customer placing an order too late for safe production.
71. Saturday Work
Saturday work is subject to shorter operating hours, limited staff, limited suppliers, limited courier availability and reduced production capacity.
72. Weekend Work
Weekend work is only accepted where expressly agreed, and is handled on a best-effort basis.
73. Public Holiday Work
Public holiday work is not guaranteed and is only available where management has expressly accepted it.
74. Rush Surcharges
Urgent, same-day, priority, weekend, after-hours or emergency work may attract rush surcharges.
75. What A Rush Surcharge Covers
A rush surcharge pays for priority handling. It does not guarantee that the job will be finished by a specific time.
76. Which Products Qualify For Urgent Work
Not every product qualifies for same-day, next-day or urgent production.
77. Products With Longer Lead Times
Special signage, bulk garments, packaging, large-format printing, special finishing, installations, outsourced products and custom-made goods may need longer lead times.
78. Standard Lead Times
Standard lead times may range from same day, next day, 48 hours and 3 to 7 working days to longer, depending on the product, artwork, finishing, quantity, supplier involvement and production method.
79. Urgency For Part Of An Order
If the customer needs part of an order urgently, this must be clearly stated in the order notes before production starts.
80. Completing Part Of An Order First
Where practical, Express Print South Africa may complete the urgent portions of an order first and finish the rest later.
81. Split Orders
Where practical, Express Print South Africa may complete, deliver or allow collection of an order in parts.
82. Delay In Part Of An Order
A delay in one part of an order does not automatically cancel the remaining parts.
83. Production Limitations
Express Print South Africa will make reasonable efforts to fulfil accepted orders, but production limitations may still occur.
84. Causes Of Production Limitations
These may include load-shedding, machine breakdowns, stock shortages, supplier delays, courier delays, staff shortages, human error, internet failure, weather, strikes or other operational disruptions.
85. Unable To Meet A Deadline
If Express Print South Africa reasonably believes it cannot meet a deadline, it may tell the customer and revise the timeline, split the order, offer an alternative or, where appropriate, cancel the order.
86. Right To Cancel Due To Operational Limits
Express Print South Africa may cancel an order where production limitations make completion impossible, unsafe, unlawful, impractical or commercially unreasonable.
87. Outsourced Or Partner Production
Express Print South Africa may use internal departments, partner factories, specialist suppliers, installers, couriers or subcontractors to complete an order.
88. Customer Authorises Partners
The customer authorises these arrangements where they are needed for production, delivery or installation.
89. Material Availability
All orders depend on material availability.
90. Substitute Materials
If a specific paper, vinyl, banner, board, garment, pen, promotional item, packaging item, colour, size or substrate is unavailable, Express Print South Africa may recommend or use a reasonable substitute where suitable.
91. Substitute Products
If an item is unavailable, discontinued, delayed or unsuitable, Express Print South Africa may offer a similar item of comparable value or function.
92. Exact Brand Not Guaranteed
We cannot guarantee the exact brand, model, shade, texture, batch or manufacturer unless this is specifically agreed in writing.
93. Variation Between Materials And Batches
Materials may differ slightly between batches, suppliers and production runs.
94. Acceptable Material Differences
Minor differences in shade, texture, thickness, finish, weight, rigidity or surface behaviour are accepted as normal production variation.
95. Colour Variation On Screens
Colours shown on screens, phones, tablets, PDFs and digital proofs may look different from the printed output.
96. Acceptable Colour Tolerance
A colour variation of up to 10% is generally accepted in commercial printing, unless a paid colour-matching process, physical sample approval or special colour agreement has been arranged in writing.
97. Colour Variation On Reprints
Repeat orders and reprints may differ from previous runs because of machine settings, material batches, ink behaviour, temperature, humidity, supplier changes and production method.
98. Exact Repeat Matching
An exact match with a previous run is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
99. Quantity Tolerance
Printing, packaging and production orders may have reasonable variations in quantity.
100. Quantity Variation On Bulk Orders
A tolerance of up to 10% may apply to bulk production, packaging, plastic, paper, labels, promotional items, garment printing and manufactured products.
101. Setup Allowance
Printing and branding need setup, testing, trimming, alignment and quality checks.
102. Production Spoilage
A reasonable production allowance or spoilage margin may apply, especially to garments, bags, labels, packaging, promotional products and large-format work.
103. Customer-Supplied Items
Where customers supply garments, blanks, boards, substrates, materials or products for printing or branding, those items are supplied entirely at the customer’s risk.
104. Damage To Customer-Supplied Items
Express Print South Africa is not liable for damage, misprints, test losses, handling marks or production failures on customer-supplied items, unless gross negligence is proven.
105. Right To Refuse Unsuitable Materials
Express Print South Africa may refuse to print on supplied items or materials that appear unsuitable, damaged, unstable, unsafe, poor quality, incompatible with our machines or likely to give an unsatisfactory result.
106. Delivery
Delivery may be arranged at an additional cost.
107. Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by courier capacity, traffic, weather, strikes, road conditions, incorrect addresses, customer availability or third-party delays.
108. Risk In Transit
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, risk passes to the customer when goods leave Express Print South Africa’s premises or are handed to a courier, driver, installer, representative or collection agent.
109. Customer’s Delivery Details
The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details, contact numbers, access instructions and recipient information.
110. Failed Deliveries
Express Print South Africa is not liable for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
111. Collection
Customers must collect completed goods promptly once they have been notified.
112. Collection And Payment
We may refuse to release goods for collection until payment is complete.
113. Checking Goods On Collection Or Delivery
Customers must inspect goods when they collect or receive them.
114. Visible Problems
Any visible problem must be reported immediately, and before the goods are used, installed, worn, distributed, sold, altered or passed on to third parties.
115. Storing Completed Goods
Express Print South Africa does not provide long-term storage unless agreed in writing.
116. Uncollected Goods
Goods not collected within 30 days may be treated as abandoned. They may then be disposed of, recycled, resold or stored at an additional charge.
117. Customer Property On Our Premises
Any customer property, materials, samples, supplied items or goods left at Express Print South Africa’s premises remain at the customer’s risk.
118. Loss Or Damage To Customer Property
Express Print South Africa is not liable for loss, damage, theft, fire, water damage or deterioration of customer property, unless gross negligence is proven.
119. Installation
Where installation is needed, the customer must make sure the site is accessible, safe, ready and suitable for installation.
120. Extra Installation Costs
Additional charges may apply for delays, unsafe sites, waiting time, return visits, access equipment, extra labour or changes to the installation scope.
121. Site Conditions
Express Print South Africa is not liable for installation delays or complications caused by poor surfaces, hidden wiring, weak walls, structural defects, weather, landlord or municipal restrictions, access problems or the customer failing to prepare the site.
122. Permissions And Approvals
The customer must obtain any landlord, municipal, body corporate, centre management, road authority or other permissions needed for signage, installation, branding, displays or advertising. The exception is where Express Print South Africa has agreed in writing to help.
123. Using The Goods
Before placing an order, the customer must make sure that printed goods, signage, branding, packaging or promotional items suit the intended purpose, environment and legal use.
124. Weather And Outdoor Exposure
Outdoor signage, banners, stickers, boards, vehicle branding and displays may be affected by weather, wind, sun, rain, dust, heat, cleaning chemicals and surface conditions.
125. Wear And Tear
Reasonable wear and tear is not a defect.
126. Care And Maintenance
After collection or delivery, the customer is responsible for looking after printed goods, including cleaning, handling, storage and maintenance.
127. Damage After Collection
Damage caused by misuse, poor handling, incorrect washing, harsh chemicals, weather exposure, poor storage or third-party handling is not Express Print South Africa’s responsibility.
128. Cancelling Before Production
Orders may be cancelled before production starts, subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 15%, plus any extra costs already incurred. These may include artwork, administration, shipping, supplier charges, materials and special procurement.
129. Cancelling After Production Starts
Orders cannot be cancelled without cost once artwork, sourcing, procurement, production, printing, manufacturing, booking, outsourcing or setup has begun.
130. Printed Products Are Final Sale
Printed, branded, customised, personalised or manufactured products cannot be cancelled once production has started. All such sales are final, subject to applicable law.
131. Cancellation Fee May Vary
The cancellation fee may vary depending on the job status, materials used, supplier costs, artwork completed and the stage production has reached.
132. Returns
Custom printed, branded, personalised, manufactured, approved or specially sourced goods cannot be returned just because the customer changed their mind, ordered incorrectly, supplied the wrong artwork, missed an event, no longer needs the goods, or expected a result that was not in the approved proof.
133. No Refunds On Processed Orders
No refunds are available for orders that have already been processed, printed, branded, manufactured, sourced, customised or approved. The exception is where applicable law requires a refund or management approves one.
134. How Refund Requests Are Assessed
Any refund request will be assessed against the approved proof, order instructions, evidence provided, production tolerance, industry standards and applicable law.
135. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it may take up to 30 days to process, depending on administration, banking, accounting, verification and our cash-flow procedures.
136. Refund Instalments
Where a refund is approved, Express Print South Africa may pay it in reasonable instalments where this is appropriate, agreed or commercially necessary, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
137. Defective Goods
If the customer believes goods are defective, they must notify Express Print South Africa in writing within a reasonable time.
138. Evidence Of A Defect
The customer must provide the invoice, proof of payment, approved artwork, photographs, videos, a full explanation and, where required, the goods for inspection.
139. Returning Goods For Assessment
Express Print South Africa may ask the customer to return the goods or make them available for inspection before we consider any reprint, repair, replacement, credit or refund.
140. How Complaints Are Assessed
Every complaint will be assessed against the quote, invoice, approved proof, supplied artwork, written instructions, material limitations, production method, industry tolerance, photographs, samples and the condition of the goods.
141. Errors Caused By The Customer
Express Print South Africa is not liable for errors, delays or losses caused by customer-supplied artwork, wrong instructions, late changes, missing information, poor-quality files, unclear communication, late payment, late approval, wrong quantities, wrong deadlines, wrong collection arrangements or failure to check proofs.
142. Errors Caused By Us
Where Express Print South Africa accepts that an error was caused by our production process and falls outside reasonable tolerance, we may provide a fair remedy. This may include correction, repair, reprint, replacement, credit or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
143. Reprints
Where a reprint is approved, Express Print South Africa may require the affected goods to be returned.
144. Limits On Reprints
Reprints will be limited to the affected part of the order and will be based on the original approved artwork and specifications, unless otherwise agreed.
145. Credits
Express Print South Africa may offer a credit as a commercial remedy or goodwill gesture.
146. A Credit Is Not An Admission
A credit does not admit liability, unless this is expressly stated in writing.
147. Use Or Distribution Before Complaint
Claims may be rejected or limited if the goods have already been used, worn, installed, distributed, sold, cut, altered, branded further, damaged, exposed to weather or otherwise handled in a way that prevents proper inspection or a remedy.
148. Indirect Losses
Express Print South Africa is not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses. These include loss of income, loss of profit, missed events, reputational harm, emotional distress, tender losses, advertising losses, penalties, staff costs, travel costs, courier costs or third-party claims.
149. Limit Of Liability
Where liability is proven, Express Print South Africa’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected goods or services, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
150. Governing Law And Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If customers have questions or concerns about these Terms, they should contact Express Print South Africa directly using the official company contact details below.
Additional Terms
151. Customer-Supplied Goods For Branding
Where customers bring their own garments, products, materials, assets, blanks, boards, bags, caps, promotional items or any other goods for branding, printing, embroidery, vinyl, DTF, UV, engraving, signage or related work, those goods are supplied entirely at the customer’s own risk.
152. No Payment For Damaged Customer-Supplied Goods
Express Print South Africa does not pay for, replace or compensate customers for customer-supplied goods or assets that are damaged, marked, spoiled, misprinted, rejected, burnt, torn, stained, melted, cracked, broken or otherwise affected while in our care for branding. The exception is where gross negligence is proven and accepted in writing by authorised management.
153. Extra Items For Calibration
Customers who supply their own goods for branding must provide extra items for testing, machine setup, alignment, heat testing, colour testing and calibration. Depending on the product and method, customers should supply at least 5 to 10 extra items above the final quantity required.
154. Not Providing Extra Items
If a customer does not provide extra items for calibration, testing, setup or colour adjustment, Express Print South Africa may go ahead at the customer’s risk. The customer accepts that some items may be used, damaged, spoiled or rejected during setup and production.
155. Machine Setup And Colour Calibration
Branding, printing and production may need machine setup, test runs, temperature testing, colour calibration, pressure testing, alignment checks and production trials. Items used in these processes are part of normal production risk and may not be treated as defective production.
156. Customer Goods Are Not Insured By Express Print South Africa
We do not insure customer-supplied goods, assets, garments, materials or products left at Express Print South Africa’s premises. Customers must arrange their own insurance where goods are valuable, urgent, rare, sentimental, expensive or difficult to replace.
157. No Claim Above The Invoice Or Quote Value
Any claim, dispute, remedy, compensation, credit, reprint, repair, refund or liability arising from an order may not exceed the amount the customer paid for the affected invoice or quote, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
158. No Consequential Claims
Express Print South Africa is not liable for claims above the invoice value. This includes loss of income, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, missed events, reputational damage, customer penalties, travel costs, courier costs, replacement costs, sentimental value, business interruption or third-party losses.
159. 24-Hour Service Is A Rush Service
Any order accepted for 24-hour service is treated as a rush production service. The customer accepts that 24-hour work carries higher operational risk, as there is limited time for proofing, testing, sourcing, corrections, drying, curing, finishing, delivery and recovery from unexpected delays.
160. Limits On Claims For 24-Hour Service
An order placed as a 24-hour service request does not automatically give rise to a claim if delays, variations or problems arise from late payment, late approval, unsuitable artwork, stock shortages, courier delays, machine issues, load-shedding, supplier delays, customer changes or circumstances outside Express Print South Africa’s reasonable control.
161. No Absolute Guarantee For 24-Hour Service
A 24-hour service request is a priority production attempt, not an absolute guarantee, unless authorised management confirms this expressly in writing. Estimated 24-hour timelines depend on payment clearance, artwork readiness, approval, capacity, materials, machines, suppliers and operating conditions.
162. Pantone And Special Colour Matching
Express Print South Africa may not be able to match colours exactly to a customer’s Pantone references, brand manuals, previous prints, samples, screen colours or third-party colour standards, unless a paid colour-matching process has been quoted and accepted in writing.
163. Standard Machine Colour Calibration
Our machines work with standard colour calibration, production profiles, machine settings, ink behaviour and material-specific print output. Customers accept that standard production may show reasonable colour variation.
164. Limits On Colour Expectations
Customers must not assume an exact colour match unless this has been expressly agreed in writing before production. Differences between Pantone colours, RGB screen colours, CMYK print output, vinyl colours, DTF colours, UV colours, sublimation colours and material colours are normal, and are not automatically treated as defects.
165. Unclaimed Goods Sold To Recover Costs
Goods, materials, customer-supplied items or completed orders left unclaimed for more than 30 days after notification may be treated as abandoned. Express Print South Africa may sell, dispose of, recycle or otherwise deal with such goods to recover storage, handling, administration and production costs, unpaid balances and related expenses. The customer will have no claim against Express Print South Africa for those goods, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
